The highly educated ones usually go faster as compared to the others. This is due to the habit of reading they had adapted during their student life. Speed reading is a skill which needs continuous practice otherwise there would be expertise.

Speed reading means to read all the content while, skimming is referred to reading a portion at the upper limits of your content. Skim reading techniques enables the speed rate to go up a little so you can understand the information and the idea with maintaining high speeds.

It is important to possess the skill of skim reading in today’s world. It will be beneficial in every form of education at all levels. It is more useful in reading high level college material where the information is extensive but you need to interpret the idea well.
